BTL
A BTL (Buy-to-Let) property is acquired with the purpose of renting it out for income, similar to an HMO. However, unlike an HMO, a BTL typically involves renting to a single household or tenant. While both aim for rental income and property appreciation, a BTL focuses on a single tenancy, allowing for much lighter management at the cost of lower income than an HMO.
